Swimming 1.5 kilometres, riding 40 kilometres and running 10 kilometres along the spectacular Anse Vata Bay in Noumea—this could be the most scenic triathlon around.
New Caledonia Marathon | August 26, 2018
Offering marathon, half-marathon and 10-kilometre distance options, this race traces the northeast coast of New Caledonia’s mainland. There is also a five-kilometre and two-kilometre option for kids. Going for nearly forty years, the race usually gets over 10,000 entrants.
South Pacific Golf Championship | September 12 – 16, 2018
Part of the PGA tour, this golf tournament is played on two courses. The Tina Golf Course, just a short drive from the main tourist attractions and accommodation in Noumea and the Golf De Deva, located at the Sheraton New Caledonia Deva Spa & Golf Resort. The biggest golf tournament in New Caledonia it attracts pro golfers and spectators from all over the world.
Transcaledonian Southern Province Mountain Adventure Race| July 7, 2018
An annual race that has been going for over twenty years, the Transcaledonian Adventure Race has options for everyone. From the hardiest experienced trekker to the families with younger children. Choose from race distances between five kilometres and 50 kilometres. Racers are guided through the hinterland with the help of local tribesmen.
