Things to Do

Explore the stunning white-sand beaches and crystal-clear waters of the lagoons without leaving the island at Oro, Kuto and Kanumera Bay. Take your snorkel gear and discover the natural coral and vibrant fish that lies beneath or go inland for an adventurous hiking adventure up the 262-metre-high peak at Majestic Pic N’Ga and enjoy the postcard-worthy views of the island. A holiday in the Isle of Pines wouldn’t be complete with an educational and adventurous visit to visit to Queen Hortense’s Cave. Outrigger tours are a popular way to discover the lagoon and bays that surround the island.

The Isle of Pines is famous for being one of the best diving locations in New Caledonia, whether you’re a beginner or experienced diver. There are over 15 dives just around the Bay of Gadji presenting a constantly changing vista of passages, drop-offs and sea grottos.

We have been to a number of islands but this would have to be our favourite so far. Loved it all. The setting, the staff, the food, the villa. Any little queries we had were quickly & pleasantly rectified. It really is a wonderful piece of paradise & we can’t wait to go back!
